Dr. Chad Carpenter
Chad graduated from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas in 1999. He has been in practice since of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Chad is the owner of Hill Country Physical Medicine, and co-owner of Comfort Chiropractic. He is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association where he holds the position of Director of Legislative affairs for Texas.
His Mission is to change the way people view their health. Dr. Chad married to his wife, a fellow Chiropractor, Kerri, in 1999. They have three boys, Rhett, Chance, and Gunner. They attend Nineteen:Ten Church in Boerne, TX.
Dr. Kerri Carpenter
Dr. Kerri grew up right here in Comfort, TX. As a junior in high school she began chiropractic treatments for a volleyball injury. These treatments not only helped her get back in the game but also helped mold her career choice. She graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in August of 1998. Parker is where she met her husband, Dr. Chad Carpenter. He practices primarily in Boerne, TX. They have 3 wonderful boys. Rhett loves spending time with family and friends. Chance enjoys helping mom cook! Gunner enjoys four wheeling along with anything outdoors.
Dr. Kerri’s goal for Hill Country Physical Medicine is to HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE! She says, “God did not put us here to be unproductive people! If I can help people feel better and function better then they can be more productive too! Chiropractic lets me use my God given talents and abilities to help and serve others!”
Sherry is a board-certified Physician Assistant, credentialed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She grew up in Victoria, Texas, then went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas in 1995. While in Austin, she met her husband who was an officer in the United States Air Force. After 18 years of a rigid military lifestyle, she was accepted into the Eastern Virginia Medical School Physician Assistant program in Norfolk, Virginia, and graduated in 2013 with a Master of Physician Assistant degree. After her husband’s retirement from the Air Force, they decided to relocate their family back to the Texas Hill Country.
They have 3 children: Logan, Reagan and Presley
Sherry is currently specialized in physical medicine and hormone replacement therapy, as well as guiding patients to an overall lifestyle of health and wellness. Prior specialties also include Cardiology, and Spinal Cord Injury at Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital.
Sherry enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and children in the Texas Hill Country, where she loves trail running, cycling, cooking, and spending time with her children. She is also quite the sports fanatic, especially when it comes to the Texas Longhorns or the San Antonio Spurs.
Sherry is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Dr. Lance D Moore
Dr. Lance graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in August 2001. Dr. Lance and his family moved to the Comfort area in April of 2006 after practicing in Snyder TX. He is married to Tracy Moore, his bride of 22 years and they have three daughters. MaKayla, Madison, and Mylee. Tracy is a radiology supervisor and loves photography. MaKayla graduated from Comfort High School in 2014 and is now a licensed esthetician, Madison will be a freshman at Comfort High School this year as well as the JV cheerleading captain, while Mylee is dedicated to gymnastics and loves to be outside.
Dr. Lance’s desire to become a chiropractor began while he was a gymnast in high school after hurting his back and using a chiropractor to get back to competing. What Dr. Lance enjoys most is his family and also helping the people of the Texas Hill Country get back to doing what they love!
Dr. Kristpoher Raef
Dr. Khristopher Raef was born and raised up in the Texas panhandle in the town of Canyon. During his childhood and adolescence, he was constantly participating in sports including soccer, track, football and weight lifting. He is 3rd in the line of 4 children. He graduated from Canyon High School in 2005 and then moved to Lubbock for his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University. Dr. Raef achieved a B.S. in Exercise & Sports Sciences with a minor in Chemistry in August of 2009.
He then was accepted to Parker College of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic in December of 2012. While attending Parker he met his wife Krista, who grew up in Mansfield, Texas. Dr. Raef and his wife have been married for 6 years and have 4 phenomenal children which provide no shortage of excitement!!
Dr. Raef is a 3rd generation chiropractor and has several other chiropractors and healthcare professionals in his extended family. His upbringing in the natural approach to healthcare have helped to guide and form his current model of patient centered healthcare.
His family is his purpose and the motivational wind in his sails! He believes his calling is to assist those in his community achieve a better quality of life through biomechanical and functional balance of their neuromusculoskeletal system, regular physical activity, and whole food nutrition.
Katie is our case manager. Her job is to make sure that each and every patient is taken care of from the beginning to end of care. She is your voice throughout the process and is there to answer any and all questions and concerns as you journey through our office.
Katie has been active in the health and wellness field since as long as she can remember. She has a bachelors in nutrition science and has a passion for fitness. Katie is a Master Pilates trainer, spin instructor, barre instructor and personal trainer. She is also a wife, and mother of two.
Katie’s goal with each patient is to make them feel cared for at an individual level. She truly believes there is not one answer for health, each body is different and everybody is different.
Cecelia has been in the nutrition/wellness field for over 20 years. Her enjoyment for teaching group exercise began during her undergraduate studies during her summer breaks. This led her to continue her education towards her Master’s degree in exercise science where she found her passion finding a connection between food and exercise. After working in the fitness industry for over 20 years, she began her PhD in exercise sport nutrition. When the graduate program was moved from Baylor to Texas A & M, Cecelia suspended these studies and returned to Denton, Texas where she completed her Post Baccalaureate in Dietetics/Nutrition from Texas Women’s University.
Cecelia has been continuously active in the fields of exercise, nutrition and wellness, and enjoys spending her time with her daughter. She continues to learn so she can help others achieve their goals as well as challenge herself to stay current on cooking and health trends so she can help others find what works for them.
